Why not Google Analytics
Less paperwork, fewer pop-ups, faster pages.
GA4 is a US-hosted product. For UK clinics, solicitors, schools and accountants on the regulated tier, that means a Standard Contractual Clauses paper trail and a cookie banner you can't legitimately suppress.
Plausible's setup needs no banner, no DPIA addendum, no transfer-impact assessment. Same headline numbers (visitors, pages, sources, conversions). None of the compliance overhead.
