1. Who we are
This service is operated by TicketWave HQ Ltd, trading as UK Web Marketing, registered in England and Wales, company number 17143167, registered office Radley House, Richardshaw Road, Pudsey, LS28 6LE, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@ukwebmarketing.com / 0113 460 2103.
2. Your right to cancel, consumers
If you bought as a consumer (an individual buying for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you normally have a 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, running from the day after the contract was made (i.e. the day you paid for the Deep-Dive, or the day you started monthly website management). Within that period you can cancel for any reason, with no penalty.
To cancel within the 14-day window (or at any time after), just tell me clearly, email hello@ukwebmarketing.com, or use the model cancellation form in section 7. You do not have to give a reason. If you cancel within 14 days and I have not started work at your request, you will receive a full refund via Stripe (see section 6 for timing).
By placing your order and sending me your content or booking your consultation to get started, you are asking me to begin the service during the cancellation period. If you cancel within 14 days and no work has yet started, you receive a full refund. If you asked me to begin work during the 14 days and I have done so, and you then cancel, I may deduct a proportionate amount reflecting the work done up to the point you told me, that is, a proportion of the total price for the work actually carried out, calculated under regulation 36(4) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Anything paid beyond that proportionate amount is refunded. The right to cancel ends once the service is fully performed (for the Deep-Dive, once the written audit has been delivered; for a build, once your website is live).
3. The £300 Marketing & Automation Deep-Dive
The Deep-Dive is a one-hour consultation plus a detailed written audit and a fixed quote for your build. It is paid up front, and the £300 is credited in full against any build you go on to commission. Cancellation works like this:
- Within the first 14 days (statutory cancellation right, consumers): if you have booked the consultation but I have not yet started work at your request, cancel any time and I refund the £300 in full. If you asked me to begin during the 14 days (for example, I have held the consultation or started preparing the written audit), I keep a proportionate amount of the £300 reflecting work actually carried out (regulation 36(4)) and refund the rest. Once the written audit has been delivered to you, the service is fully performed and the statutory cancellation right no longer applies.
- If you go on to commission a build: the £300 is credited against your first invoice, so you do not pay it twice.
- If I cancel (for example, I decline the project or cannot deliver it): you get a full refund of the £300.
- Things going wrong: where the law gives you a remedy, for example if the work was not carried out with reasonable care and skill (Consumer Rights Act 2015 / our contract), I will put it right (re-perform the work), or if that is not possible or done within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction. Tell me within a reasonable time of noticing a problem.
3a. Monthly website management
The bespoke build is looked after on monthly website management, quoted to your business, from £49 per month, and services may vary. It may run as a monthly managed service or as one-off consulting, whichever suits the work. There is no lock-in and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period, I do not refund part-periods (subject to the 14-day statutory cancellation right described in section 2). On cancellation:
- Website management ends at the end of the paid period. There is no exit or transfer fee: your code is yours, and on cancellation I hand it over on request so you can host it elsewhere, at no charge. You keep your domain too.
- Lead-magnet flows, CRM data (Capsule), and newsletter subscribers I hold on your behalf are exported to you on request within 14 days. You can also choose to keep the Capsule and Resend EU accounts (I will transfer them into your name).
- Article work already published stays published on your site; future articles cease at the end of the paid period.
- If I cancel (for example, I decline to continue, or cannot deliver): you get a full refund of anything you have paid for work not yet done, and you keep your domain, your code, and anything you brought me.
4. Bespoke and larger projects
For one-off work beyond monthly website management (shops, booking systems, web apps, and the like), cancellation and refunds follow the written quote/Order for that project and the principles above, generally: full refund before work starts; thereafter, a refund reflecting work done and any non-refundable third-party costs.
5. The TicketWave platform
Where your build uses ordering, booking, stock or ticketing, these run on the TicketWave platform, which is operated by the same legal entity as UK Web Marketing (TicketWave HQ Ltd). Any fair usage fee appears on your one monthly UK Web Marketing bill, and any refund relating to it is handled by UK Web Marketing under this policy, there is no separate provider, no separate bill, and no separate terms to read.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds are made to the original payment method, via Stripe, normally within 14 days of me agreeing the refund (or, for the consumer 14-day cancellation, within 14 days of you telling me you are cancelling). Payments and refunds are processed by Stripe; I do not hold your card details. Stripe's payment-processing fee on the original transaction is not returned to me, but this will not reduce your refund.
7. Model cancellation form (consumers)
You do not have to use this, any clear statement works, but if you would like to, complete and send this to hello@ukwebmarketing.com:
